Dr Emad Hanna

Dentist - BDSc, MDSc (Oral Surgery – Cairo), FICOI (Implantology)

With more than 25 years’ experience, Dr Emad uses his skills as a trustworthy provider to change the lives of his patients. Through years of training and the incorporation of the latest in technology, Dr Emad has evolved with the dynamics of modern dental care since entering private practice more than two decades ago. “I love helping people”, he says and finds the process both challenging and gratifying, seeing real life results as he affects the personal lives of all the patients we see.

Dr Emad earned his BDSc at Cairo University in 1993, followed by Master’s Degrees in Oral Surgery and Implantology. He is Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has taken extensive coursework in Orthodontic treatment with the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (IAAD).

When not at work, Dr Emad enjoys being active, whether it’s jogging, cardio or hiking. In 2016, he enjoyed a trekking expedition in Jordan but his biggest achievement is conquering Everest base camp in 2018. Emad also enjoys spending time with his wife Nousha and their 2 daughters Monica & Daniella.  When at home he loves all things history & technology.

Dr Robert Lin

Dentist - BDSc (QLD), FIAO (Orthodontics), FIADFE (Facial Asthetics)

Dr Robert Lin has lived in Brisbane since 1991 and was a school prefect at Brisbane State High. He graduated from Dentistry in 2009 at the University of Queensland. Robert has been practising orthodontics since 2013 and received his fellowship award from the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO) in 2018.

Dr Robert Lin is the dental expert that optimizes health beyond your teeth, so you can breathe better, sleep better and eliminate pain, beyond your million dollar smile! Dr Lin’s focused on the overal health of his patients to ensure they live a happy, healthy, long life.

Since 2018 Dr Lin has been part of the teaching faculty at the International Academy of Advanced Dentistry (IAADent) in Sydney and also runs an orthodontics study club in Brisbane which attracts dentists from all over SE QLD and northern NSW. In 2021 Dr Lin also completed his Fellowship with the International Academy for Dental-Facial Esthetics.

Dr Manish Shah

BDS, MBBS, MMED (Sleep Medicine)

After graduating from a degree in Dentistry with honours in 1998 (University of Sydney), Dr Manish went on to complete a degree in Medicine in 2005 (University of Sydney).

With a special interest in craniofacial pain and sleep disorders, Dr Manish has also competed a Masters in Medicine in Sleep Medicine (University of Sydney).

As a medical doctor and a dentist he has dedicated himself to providing wholistic dental care for all his patients.

Dr Manish has over 15 years experience in comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Nirmani Abeywardana

Dentist - (BOH Dent Sc and Grad Dip Dentistry)

Dr. Nirmani (Mani) Abeywardana finished her training in the Gold Coast in 2012 and have since worked in Sunshine Coast before moving to Brisbane with her husband, son and two doggos.

She has a welcoming and approachable attitude and this combined with her relaxed nature puts patients at ease. She believes in listening to her patients and involving them in decision making process for the best possible outcome for their dental health. She is happy to take her time to explain and help to work through any questions.

She enjoys restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She believes in educating people about dental health so all her patients are able to make the best informed decisions for their own dental health.

When she is not practicing Dentistry, Marni enjoys spending time with friends and family over a cheeseboard. Her most treasured time is that spent with her family of 4 boys – 2 legged (hubby Dylan and toddler Virain) and 4 legged (Bailey the Cavoodle, and Cooper the Spoodle).

Dr Tasleem Khan

Dentist (BDSc)

Dr. Tasleem’s interest in dentistry started in his gap year during a stint observing his local Orthodontist. Seeing how dental treatment could transform people’s smiles to boost their confidence and have a hugely positive impact on their lives convinced him to pursue dentistry. As a result, Tasleem loves giving patients a smile they love to display whether it is through a sparkling clean to performing aesthetic dentistry procedures.

Tasleem feels especially fulfilled when he can help patients, who have had previous negative experiences, feel comfortable in the dental chair. He treats every patient with the care and respect he would give to his family and friends whilst consistently attending courses and seminars to stay up to date with the current techniques.

Outside of work, Tasleem likes to keep active through kickboxing or playing footy with friends and winding down whilst watching the latest releases! He’s also an avid Brisbane Heat and Broncos fan and when he’s not at the game, you can find him glued to the tv cheering the team on. Feeling inspired during summer, Tasleem will occasionally escape up to the coast and try his hand at surfing (he doesn’t like to hear it, but he’s got a long way to go).

Nousha Asaad

Business Manager

Nousha joins the team as a Business Manager with a Bachelor Degree in Economics from Cairo University and an MBA from Griffith University. Nousha is mostly responsible for the back-office work at our practice and although she does not get to interact much with our patients, she finds it most fulfilling to receive their positive feedback about their experience at Bald Hills Dental.

Nousha is a big believer in the connection between one’s oral health and their overall heath and sees dentistry as always evolving and improving in its techniques and services.

Outside of the practice, Nousha enjoys reading, cooking and spending time travelling with husband, Dr Emad Hanna and their 2 daughters. As she puts it, “Having 2 daughters in different academic stages makes planning for a family vacation that suits everyone’s different schedules and varying vacation times quite challenging. However, I like to think I mastered it!”

Angie Grabbe

Practice Manager

Angie joined Bald Hills Dental in 2021 and has a certificate III in dental assisting. After having many dentist trips growing up, she had always been intrigued by the concept of dentistry and wished to have a career in it.

After joining Bald Hills Dental she discovered that it was her passion to help people with their journey to loving their smile, just how the many dental teams had helped her. Angie’s future goal is to own her own clinic and further her career in the dental industry. She is focused on making patients feel comfortable and creating a calm environment for everyone.

Charlie Parker

Dental Assistant

Charlie joined Bald Hills Dental Mid-2023. She his since discovered the rewarding industry and loves it. Charlie started her Certificate III in December 2023. Charlie has many dreams and goals and a goal of hers is to make sure everyone feels comfortable in our clinic. Charlie spreads positivity everywhere she goes with her enegretic and loving personaility.

Ebony Homer

Dental Assistant

Ebony joined our team in 2023 after completeing her certificate III in dental Assisting through tafe. She has since learned the ropes of all the procedures we do and is has become a super-star in our team. Ebony loves to help her patients smile a little bit brighter after each appointment, and loves getting to know them on a personal level.

In  Ebonie’s free time, you will find her listening to music and enjoying the company of her 2 frogs, Wassabi and Morello.
